A year has gone by since my last chapter was recorded. |

This is the front
cover of our monthly publication.
It was mailed to the home of each participating family and gave the scores
and a brief summery of every game. |

The Organization Directory
Just reviewing these names
brings fond memories and a tear to me.

This was my
message to the parents at the start of the project to build the new
fields.
The Core of Engineers did not finish but
we did and all the boys played the following year.
During construction, we still had the use
of the old fields at 115th St. |
|
The "Centerfold"
This plan was followed very
closely. A parking area was carved out of the woods along the road
(which was made of ash, not gravel) |

|
In
recent years, the village of Marionette Park purchased this property and has
expanded it with additional fields. Lights have been installed and girls teams
have been added. I have been back to watch my grandchildren play there. It is
gratifying to have had a part in this project.
